Most conflicts and wars in the world can be easily explained if we take 10,000 miles view at our world.
The world stage is dominated by several centers of powers which are constantly trying to expand their zones of influence and control. Of course, currently, USA and its allies are domineering the world stage dictating events and controlling mass media. It’s worth noting here, some allies (i.e. Germany, France …) are not quite that willing followers like others UK and most Eastern European countries) to follow the drums. At the other end of the play field is Russia with few of their loyal friends.
Thus, many recent conflicts, like in Ukraine and Yugoslavia and even in Syria, can be realistically explained as an on-going battle for control and hegemony between these two centers of power.
Everything else is just part of the folklore.carefully prepared for onlookers.
